                        Formerly most common in deep waters of Utah Lake.  Tributaries of lake were used for spawning.  Adults are pelagic and feed on aquatic invertebrates in the mid-water column.  Juveniles inhabit emergent vegetation, apparently as refuge from predators (Ref. 35293).
