Inhabit rocky shores exposed to surf; dwell in holes and crevices to escape heavy wave action (Ref. 205). Benthic (Ref. 58302). Feed on algae, detritus and small invertebrates. Oviparous. Eggs are demersal and adhesive (Ref. 205).
