Biology
Occurs in tide pools and flats in depths less than 1 m, among the brown alga Cystoseira sp.; has also been trawled at a depth of 45 m. Males mature at about 11.5 cm SL. Ovoviviparous (Ref. 205). Males carry the eggs in their brood pouches (Ref. 205).
