Barbel long, reaching beyond posterior edge of eye, caudal peduncle low, epithelial crests on dorsal scales absent; supraorbital seismosensory canal not connected with infraorbital one (Ref. 28796); and anal fin with 5? branched rays (Ref. 59043).
