Dorsal spines (total): 3; Dorsal soft rays (total): 7; Anal spines: 3; Anal soft rays: 5; Vertebrae: 41 - 43. Head conical, wide, slightly flattened. Barbel long, reaching beyond posterior edge of eye, caudal peduncle low, epithelial crests on dorsal scales absent; supraorbital seismosensory canal not connected with infraorbital one (Ref. 28796); and anal fin with 5? branched rays (Ref. 59043).
